	Check it out! 9th July 2010
	I am a big fan of Classic Jacks. It has recently changed their burgers and are now serving home-made custom creations which are great. Their menu has something for everyone and your ability to choose from a large list of sides is top shelf. Classic Jacks is a good place to eat or just grab a few drinks. Check it out!

	WOW were we blown away with the food June 21st 2010
	I discovered this place at random with friends. Wow were we blown away with the food. One of my friends ordered a steak and they kept aplogising for the wait as the chef wasn't compeltely satisfied with it and the last one was slightly overcooked so they started again. To me thats a kitchen that takes pride in their work and worth the wait. Yep worth it steak was juicey and great.Burgers are awesome here. All the sides are terrific too. I took my parents here cos the last 2 restaurants I took them to served us either a frozen salmon but hot on outside, or burnt burger patty (MOXIES!). They didnt dissapoint and we had a great evening. I walked back and gave the kitchen $40 to thank them for finally serving myself and parents a decent meal in Calgary.Wait staff I have always found to be friendly and polite. Staff here seems to work hard. I get the impression that management here definately know what theyre doing and how to run a great bar/restaurant. Will be back without question. If in doubt and you have friends from out of town you want to impress - take them here

	What wowed me about this place is the food 15th March 2010
	Wasn't excited to go here because I wasn't in the mood for pub food. However, my friends really wanted to go so I thought I'd give it a try. Upon entering, the manager was super friendly and warm. What wowed me about this place is the food. The price was amazing and the sides and selection were extremely good. I had the feature soup as one of my sides and it was probably one of the best soups I've ever had. The sides were extremely generous, and I was surprised because the prices already seemed much lower than a lot of places I'd been in Calgary. The food was really good, and I totally changed my mind about pub food that night. Would definitely like to go there again!

	Haven't had that much fun since the 80s ;) September 2009
	A girlfriend and I wanted to have a night on the town and after bar-hopping a bit we wound up on 17th Avenue. We were walking by Classic Jacks and it seemed like everyone was having a riot inside, so we had to see what all the fuss was about. Can I just say that we should have just skipped the meat-market bar hopping and just stayed at Classic Jacks all night long! It was AWESOME! The people were fun, the waitresses were great, but most of all, the music was AMAAAZING! I'm talking Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Def Leopard, Metallica, Bryan Adams, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Pepeprs, Guns N' Roses and naturally, ALL the classics. Gawd, it was like an all-night rock party! Haven't had that much fun since the 80s ;)

	Classic Jack's is better than ever. August 2009
	Over the years, Classic Jack's has become one of my favourite 17th locations. Now with its newly renovated interior and updated menu, Classic Jack's is better than ever. That's not to say it wasn't super awesome before but now it's even better! Every time I go to Classic Jack's I always feel extremely comfortable. The service there is amazing and I've never been disappointed when I left. I used to go to Classic Jacks before hitting the bar for the night, but now I enjoy going there to close the night. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours and not drain your wallet. The specials at this place are pretty sweet! Every night of the week they have some drink on special for under $5. Sunday's are my favourite because you can get buckets of Kokanee for $17... that's $4.25 per beer. I also love Wednesday's because it's wing night, and who doesn't love wing night? Classic Jack's always has been, and always will be, up at the top of my Red Mile restaurant and bar choices. It's a great place for dinner and drinks. Everything, and everyone in the place is great!
